Africa Climate Week (ACW) is part of the UNFCCC’s Climate Weeks—biannual events that bridge intergovernmental decisions with on-the-ground implementation UNFCCC. The second ACW of 2025 will feature a rich program of mandated UNFCCC events, high-impact climate policy dialogues, capacity-building sessions, and Implementation Labs to enhance preparedness for NDC formulation, adaptation plans, Article 6 (carbon markets), and climate finance.

Attendees include UNFCCC party representatives, non-party stakeholders, private sector actors, and community practitioners. ACW provides a strategic forum for regional stakeholders to align efforts, showcase climate solutions, and influence COP30 discussions
