Climate Week NYC 2025, hosted by The Climate Group, will take place from September 21–28, 2025, in New York City. Coinciding with the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80) and Global Goals Week, this event forms a global hub for climate action by integrating diplomatic, policy, business, and civil society efforts into a unified week of engagement.
Over 900 hybrid, in-person, and online activities will span across ten core thematic categories: Energy, Finance, Food, Health, Built Environment, Industry, Nature, Policy, Sustainable Living, and Transport. The week will feature high-level events such as the Opening Ceremony, The Hub Live, Executive Series, and Masterclasses, emphasizing measurable progress on climate goals.
Anticipated discussions include Energy Transition, Nature Action, Climate Transition Action Plans (CTAPs), Scope 3 Emissions, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Corporate Sustainability, Climate and Health, and digital infrastructure for climate data. The agenda leans heavily on the evolving theme of “Power On,” a call to mobilize investment, innovation, and partnerships that reframe climate action as an economic growth strategy.
The event is designed to produce concrete outcomes, such as new corporate sustainability commitments, cross-sector partnerships, and increased public engagement. Importantly, it fosters synergy between multilateral diplomacy and grassroots innovation by including voices from indigenous communities, youth, private sector leaders, and governments. With a focus on practical implementation and financial opportunity, Climate Week NYC 2025 will significantly contribute to achieving SDG 7 (Affordable & Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
