The UUBO ICE Summit 2025, themed Compliance, Culture, and Consequence: The Blueprint for Corporate Integrity, gathers top thinkers and industry leaders to address one of today’s most urgent business challenges: building ethical and resilient organisations through rigorous compliance and transparent governance.

Launched in 2018, the summit has evolved into a vibrant network for capacity-building and development, attracting practitioners from across sectors of the economy. Years of facilitating knowledge exchange through presentations, panels, and interactive debate led by recognised Subject Matter Experts have become a cornerstone for learning and dialogue in the compliance space.

This year, executives from business, law, and government open the conversation by underlining corporate culture as fundamental for lasting success. The summit’s agenda moves beyond aspiration, framing integrity as the line between organisations that withstand adversity and those undone by crisis. Panels will explore how ethical standards can be embedded, linking values, policies, and everyday actions.

The ICE Summit positions itself as the nexus for critical dialogue, uniting perspectives on global compliance and local realities. Attendees will address key topics—including ESG, export controls, tariffs, artificial intelligence, whistleblowing, and investigations. The program offers a blend of policy analysis, boardroom strategy, and hands-on advice, illustrating how international mandates can be tailored to protect local character and impact

Actionable strategies take centre stage as experts share practical guidance for ESG implementation and responsible AI in Africa’s context. The crucial matter of governance oversight demands that boards and senior leaders step up, conducting risk management and fostering values from within.

Progressive models for whistleblower protection and investigations round out the sessions, positioning accountability as an engine for lasting business value.

In this feature, we highlight the distinguished speakers who will shape the agenda of the UUBO ICE Summit 2025, scheduled for September 11.

Registration for the Summit is already ongoing. Register Now at http://www.uubo.org/icesummit
